FAQ
The bot looks idle and isn't scanning — is something wrong?
Usually not. The bot trades crypto markets on Kalshi, and when no eligible crypto markets are open there is nothing for it to scan. Seeing zero scans during those windows is normal. If a safety control has halted trading, the bot may also be scan-only — see Money safety.
What's the difference between an owner and a viewer?
Owners have full access, including Bot Control and Strategy. Viewers are read-only: they can see your positions, history, and analysis, but cannot change configuration or start and stop the bot. Owners invite viewers by email from the Settings tab.
Where do the P&L numbers come from?
Total P&L on the History tab is settled-only — it counts settled positions, not open ones. It already nets out Kalshi's exchange fees, so the figure you see is net of fees. See Billing for more on how Kalshi fees fit in.
How do my config changes reach the bot?
You edit configuration on the Strategy tab. Save stores a draft. Deploy publishes a new versioned config, and the bot picks it up on its next loop — there is no need to restart it by hand.
