ETH-specific overrides
ETH markets tend to run wider spreads and thinner books than BTC. The Per-Asset Overrides (ETH) group lets you give ETH its own value for two execution-microstructure knobs, without changing how BTC trades.
The two overrides
| Setting | Shared knob it can override | |---|---| | Max Spread (ETH) | Max Spread — the widest bid-ask spread the bot will trade into | | Spread Penalty Per Cent (ETH) | The Net-Edge Filter's spread penalty applied per cent of spread (shown in the Net-Edge Filter group of the table editor) |
How blank works
The default for both is blank, which means use the shared BTC/ETH value. When an override is blank, ETH behaves exactly as it does with the shared setting — there is no separate ETH behavior.
Setting a value changes only ETH trading. BTC always uses the shared value from the Order Execution and Net-Edge Filter groups. For example, a slightly higher Max Spread (ETH) can keep the bot trading ETH in normal conditions without loosening BTC.
Leave these blank unless you specifically want to tune ETH on its own.
